A bicyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle in Amityville Monday night.

Police say the incident unfolded around 11 p.m. on Route 110 near Ritter Avenue.

The cyclist was apparently crossing Route 110 when he was hit by 2009 Toyota.

The driver of the Toyota was not injured, and an investigation is continuing.
