A Roosevelt man was convicted of killing his girlfriend's mother.

Antonio Christian was found guilty of first-degree murder Friday.

Prosecutors say the 28-year-old crushed Saundra Simonee's skull with a hammer back in 2013 and then dumped the body in Bay Shore.

Christian faces a maximum of life in prison without parole when he is sentenced next month.
