Man accused in webcam sex act, child porn case

A Merrick man accused of performing sex acts in front of children through an Internet chat site has pleaded not guilty.
Police arrested Nicholas Caruso, 21, yesterday at his home in Merrick.
Caruso allegedly posed as a 15-year-old boy so he could chat online with an 11-year-old Arizona girl.
Police say an investigation revealed that Caruso had performed sex acts while children as young as 5 watched over a webcam.
Police also say child pornography files made by Caruso were found on his computer.
