Snow-weary Long Island geared up once again for another round of snow.
The Department of Transportation's salt trucks began filling up Wednesday afternoon in preparation for overnight snowfall.
Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto says this hasn't been an easy winter and many towns are low on road salt. The Town of Oyster Bay received a late afternoon delivery Wednesday.
Long Islanders headed to hardware stores and supermarkets to make sure they were prepared. Store manager Andy Pergament from the Ace Hardware in Bethpage says they were well-stocked, with the exception of ice melt.
