The state Senate could be voting today on a bill that places age restrictions on tanning beds.

The proposed law would block anyone under 18 from using a tanning bed.

Currently, the law restricts tanning beds from anyone aged 16 or younger. Seventeen-year-olds need written consent from a parent or guardian.
