A Long Island contractor who allegedly stole from Superstorm Sandy victims has been sentenced to 1 to 3 years in prison.
Andrew Troiano, who used to live in Lake Grove, was sentenced Friday.
He pleaded guilty in September to multiple counts of grand larceny.
Prosecutors say Troiano stole more than $170,000 from Sandy victims in Queens and spent the money on cell phones, cable bills, liquors and restaurants.
