Police say a Freeport man has been killed in a car crash.

According to police, Sharlene Numa, 28, of Roosevelt, rear-ended a car near South Conduit Avenue and Brookville Boulevard in Queens. The incident happened around 4 a.m.

News 12 Long Island has learned Numa's passenger, Kendall Heard, 29, was killed in the crash.

Numa and the driver of the other car are both in stable condition.

Numa is facing manslaughter and DWI charges.
