Long Island war veterans received a special ride on Saturday.

Honor Flight brought Long Island veterans from MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma to the Korean War memorial and the World War II memorial in Washington, D.C.

When the veterans returned to MacArthur Saturday evening, they were welcomed by a big crowd thanking them for their service.
