The Long Beach community said a final farewell to a high school senior who tragically died last week.

As News 12 has reported, Gerrin Hagen was hit by a teen driver last Thursday while riding his skateboard.

Hagen died from his injuries a day later.

Gerrin’s loved ones tell News 12 he was a dedicated hockey player, a lacrosse player and a lifeguard.

Hagen's funeral was held at Saint Ignatius Roman Catholic Church.
