Funeral services were held today for a teenager who was killed in a hit-and-run in Coram earlier this month.

Loved ones gathered for a closing prayer for 13-year-old Tyler Phillips at Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island.

Phillips' family says he was struck by a driver last Wednesday after he pushed his sister to safety. He died from his injuries several days later.

The driver has not yet been arrested.
