Officials say a former maintenance worker at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northport has been arrested on rape charges.

News 12 has learned Tate Cruse, 38, of Mastic, was arrested on Wednesday by special agents from the FBI and Veterans Affairs.

Cruse is accused of raping a woman who was also an employee at the VA.
