Long Beach firefighters responded to a call Sunday night about a possible deck collapse on California Street.

Firefighters found a support column and steel beam that was supporting the deck had become dislodged.

Teams from Rockville Centre, Freeport and North Bellmore were also on the scene.

Firefighters were able to temporarily resupport the deck.
