A café went up in flames and some adjacent storefronts suffered damage in South Farmingdale on Monday night, according to officials.

The fire broke out at Café La Bella Notte, located on Merritts Road around 9:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

The owner of Cafe La Bella Notte said he doesn't know what his next move is or how he will reopen.
