Health officials say there is an EpiPen emergency.

The Food and Drug Administration is confirming that there is a shortage of the drug mainly used to treat food allergies.

Mylan, which makes the drug, claims manufacturing delays are to blame.

The FDA believes the shortage will not be long term.
