Experts: White-tailed deer, climate change contribute to increase in tick exposure

Outdoor activities are more common in the summer and so is tick exposure.
Experts say climate change could partially have something to do with the increase in ticks. However, they say it has more to do with white-tailed deer becoming more common in densely populated areas.
Some species of ticks carry diseases, like Lyme disease, which can be debilitating or even life-threatening.
