The former director of operations for the state Department of Corrections is facing charges.

New York's Inspector General Catherine Leahy Scott announced the arrest of James Ferro, who is accused of forcibly touching and repeatedly harassing one of his employees.

The incidents allegedly occurred while he was director of operations for the Special Investigations Unit in the state Department of Corrections.

Ferro is facing multiple charges.
