A Coram man accused of a hit-and-run after a fight inside a bodega has pleaded not guilty.

Elvis Espinal was in court today after police say he ran down Joel Ruiz in a parking lot two weeks ago.

Ruiz suffered severe head injuries and broken bones.

There is no word on what the fight was over.
