Police are looking for whoever shot a man in the neck at a popular Suffolk County strip club.

The incident happened in the parking lot of Café Royale in Farmingdale around 12:30 a.m.

Police have identified the victim as William Proefreidt, of Farmingdale, and say he was shot once in the neck. Proefreidt is listed in serious but stable condition.

There is no word on a possible motive.
