A Brentwood man is accused of robbing 12 Suffolk gas stations.

David Murphy, 30, was arrested Wednesday following a holdup in Brentwood.

According to police, most of the holdups were on Sunrise Highway and Motor Parkway in Copiague, Holtsville, Hauppauge, Central Islip, Islip Terrace, Bay Shore and Brentwood.

Police say the robberies date back to August.
