Some children spent their day off from school at the Long Island Children's Museum in Garden City for a performance by Dance Visions NY.

The dance company performance was inspired by the images and words in the Susan Ruth Cohen book, "Colorsong."

The book comes alive with imagination, creativity and lots of colorful choreography.
