A chemical leak was reported at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn Friday night.

Hospital officials said that the leak may have been caused by a backup battery from medical imaging equipment.

News 12 was told that the leak may have been cyanide, but police now say that the substance was not toxic and no one was in danger.
