The Brentwood Union Free School District superintendent is retiring effective as of this Saturday.

Richard Loeschner has served as the school district’s superintendent since 2017.

Wanda Ortiz-Rivera has been named interim superintendent for the 2023-2024 school year. She started with the district in 2001 and has worked as both a teacher and an administrator.
