A popular restaurant in Babylon is closing its doors for the time being.

The Babylon Carriage House has been a staple in the village for nearly two decades.

On its social media, the post said in part "We thank our staff and our community for your continued support and can't wait to share what's to come."

It appears owners are planning a new venture, also saying that all gift certificates will be redeemable when they reopen.
