Officials say 30 people have been displaced after a fire at a motel in Westbury.

The fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. at the Pines Motor Lodge.

Investigators say the fire started in a room on the second floor, but they are not sure how it started.

News 12 has been told a firefighter and a child who was staying at the motel were hurt. Both of them are expected to be OK.
