Two Suffolk County officers helped an Amityville woman deliver her baby Thursday on the floor of her apartment.

Officers Diego Montero and Michael Stroehlein coached Stefanie Andrade through labor using a shoelace to tie off the umbilical cord until EMTs arrived.

Andrade gave birth to a daughter she named Callie.

Both are now bonding at Good Samaritan University Hospital.
