Lottery officials say two second-place tickets worth $1 million were sold in the area.



One ticket was sold at Virpa Convenience INC. in Westbury. The other was purchased at Family Vending Inc. at Federal Plaza in Manhattan.

The winner of the $216 million jackpot is somewhere in California.

The winning numbers from last night's drawing are 03-23-31-34-47, Powerball is 13.
