The Coast Guard rescued two men from the waters off Fire Island on Friday after their boat ran into trouble at sea.

Officials say their boat's transmission failed. The Coast Guard needed to use a helicopter to rescue the men due to the high winds and rough seas.

The dramatic rescue was captured on video from the helicopter.

Both men were wearing life jackets at the time and were not hurt.
