Two people were injured in an apparent wrong-way crash in East Patchogue.

Investigators say Jorge Torres was driving east in the westbound lane on Montauk Highway when he collided with another vehicle.

It happened Saturday night at the intersection of Columbus Avenue.

News 12 is told that Torres and a passenger in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
