A 16-year-old boy is recovering after being shot in the leg in West Farms. 

It happened at East 180th Street and Honeywell Avenue in the middle of the afternoon Sunday. 

The teenager was taken to Jacobi Medical Center and is expected to be OK. 

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
