A 102-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after a fire in his Valley Stream home. 

It happened Tuesday just before 4 p.m.

Police say they arrived at the Fir Street home to find the second floor completely engulfed in flames.

Four fire departments worked to extinguish the flames.

The man was taken to the hospital, suffering from smoke inhalation.

No word yet on what started the fire.
