Brooklyn gets a beautiful reset today with cooler air, sunshine, and highs around the upper 70s. Today looks perfect to start with less humidity than yesterday and more sunshine. Clouds will return this afternoon and could bring a spotty shower with them after 5 p.m. Aside from this, it's a great evening for plans after work.
The air-conditioning unit can take the night off, temperatures are dipping into the mid-50s overnight and it will be breezy. Expect a refreshing feel to the last morning of the work week with plenty of sunshine. Aside from a few clouds, Friday looks good with a breeze from the NW occasionally gusting to 20 mph and high temperatures near 80-degrees.
This weekend is a nice makeup for our holiday weekend. Saturday stays mostly sunny and cooler with a high near 70-degrees. It's a great weather for street fairs, brunch, and time in the park with low humidity and no rain expected.
Sunday looks just as comfortable with sunshine and highs in the low 70s before clouds slowly return at night. Overall, it’s one of those classic late-May weekends in the Bronx where the weather barely gets in the way of any plans.
Uncertainty next week
A stubborn area of low pressure will sit over New England and bring cloudy skies and rain just off to our east, and high pressure will bring heat off to the west. We are right in between so the forecast could change for Monday and Tuesday if there's even a slight shift in this weather pattern. For now we are expecting highs in the mid-70s with a stray shower Monday night into Tuesday morning and gradually warmer and drier weather later in the week.
