An Oyster Bay woman has admitted to a $30 million fraud scheme.

Federal prosecutors say she pocketed the money after promising victims’ legal residency and access to politicians, including President Donald Trump.

Prosecutors say Sherry Xue Li took money from 150 people, many from China, promising them permanent legal status in the United States.

She and her partner also acted as straw donors for foreign nationals to illegally contribute to campaigns, according to court documents.

News 12 has been told the two used the money to buy jewelry, homes and vacations.

Li faces up to 20 years in prison.
