Word on the Street: Smartphone separation anxiety
A new study shows that being separated from one's smartphone can cause anxiety and even a loss of intelligence.
In the study, which was conducted by the University of Missouri, 40 participants were told they could not use their phones while answering simple questions on a quiz. As a result, the participants performed poorly.
News 12 The Bronx hit the streets to ask residents if they would be able to perform simple tasks without their smartphones.
