LATTINGTOWN - Police are working to identify the remains of a woman found in Lattingtown yesterday afternoon.

Officials say the skeletal remains of a 20- to 30-year-old woman were found by a woman walking her dog in a sandy area near the end of Sheep Lane.

Investigators say they discovered a unique gold necklace with a pig pendant.

Anyone with information about the remains is asked to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
