The Brooklyn Zoo offers Brooklyn residents something they wouldn't find in an ordinary gym.

Parkour is the movement from one environmental obstacle to another. It also focuses on other sports based on movement, like break dancing.

The gym mainly relies on word of mouth to get participants.

"The parkour community like is very inclusive," says teacher and trainer Orlando Alicea. "So a parkour gym doesn't open up and you don't hear about it."

The Brooklyn Zoo also offers classes for children.
