What’s Hot: Taco Bell unveils drive-thru of the future
One fast food restaurant is hoping to make its food... well, faster.
A brand new concept called "Taco Bell Defy" opened Tuesday in a Minneapolis suburb.
It has four drive-thru lanes -- which sit below the kitchen.
Food is delivered through a vertical lift system.
Why four lanes?
One is just for delivery drivers... and another, for people who have already ordered and paid using Taco Bell's app.
Then the other two are for people ordering the traditional way.
A recent survey showed the average Taco Bell order takes four and a half minutes to complete.
The company says the new restaurant is looking to slash that by more than half.
