News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Sam Augeri says a sunny stretch of weather is coming up.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- High risk of tip currents Tuesday with gusty northwest winds
- Sam's pick of the week: Wednesday with sunny skies and pleasant conditions. Tuesday through Friday will be beautiful with lots of sun and seasonable temperatures.
- WEEKEND STORM: Keeping our eye on low pressure developing south along the coast. There is a chance for on and off rain much of the weekend. How far north the storm makes it and how much rain we get depends on dry air and high pressure north of Long Island.
OVERNIGHT: Rain ends with partly cloudy skies. Breezy and cool with lows near 58. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph. Sunrise: 6:37
