The owners of Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck say today is their busiest day of the year, as the line formed outside well before the doors opened.

The staff inside was ready for the rush, with the Thanksgiving dessert staples such as homemade pies and apple cider donuts.  

Delicious Orchards dates back to the early 20 century, and for many families, a stop is part of a holiday tradition for many families.

“We've been around for so long, we really are a family,” says Chris McDonald. “Every single one of us is stocking shelves. We know all of our customers, so it's a lot of fun.

Chris says the family-run store will sell more than 50,000 pies and millions of donuts each year.
