Clear surveillance video shows the shooting of a man on Cromwell Avenue last weekend, outside of the Volunteers of America Safe Haven.

Video released by police shows a man wearing a grey hoodie and wielding a firearm, screaming and approaching someone off the view point of the camera. Seconds later another man, with his face covered, approaches with a gun.

News 12 obtained a different video taken minutes before a group of men beat up another man. Some were hitting the 27-year-old with a bat before he was able to run off towards the location where police say he was shot in the leg.

The victim shot is expected to be okay.

 Police are now asking for anyone with information on those two suspects to a call.
