A Long Island veteran who lost both legs in a Baghdad bombing in 2008 received a state-of-the-art all terrain motorized wheelchair Wednesday evening.

The gift for Chris Levi, of Holbrook, came from two fellow veterans, Robert Durso and Mike Hawksby, the owners of Rok Health and Fitness. Gym members also made donations toward purchasing the chair.

The cutting edge wheelchair enables a wounded veteran to go where no traditional wheelchair is capable of going.

Levi says he is grateful and he can't wait to ride his new wheelchair.

"I think it looks cool," said Levi "I'm really excited about it. I can't hide my smile."
