A van flipped over a Yonkers overpass Thursday morning and crashed onto the Bronx River Parkway below.

Police say the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. The driver, a business owner, drove off the curved westbound ramp from the Cross County Parkway toward the southbound side of the Bronx River Parkway and landed on the median below.

Employees of the driver says he is still recovering in the hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery. There were no other vehicles involved.
