A Uniondale man has been convicted of manslaughter in the death of a toddler.
Prosecutors say Lord Pardo beat an 18-month-old he was baby-sitting.
Investigators say the boy, Mason Robinson, suffered a fractured skull, lacerated liver and other fatal injuries.
They say Robinson bled to death while Pardo did nothing.
Pardo had claimed the baby fell and that it was an accident.
