SUNY students will be paying more money for tuition this fall.
Officials say the tuition is going up $200 or about 3 percent. The tuition would rise to nearly $6,700.
The hike would not affect students who qualify for the state's Excelsior Scholarship.
As News 12 has reported, the program offers free tuition for students whose families make less than $100,000 a year.
