At least one Tremont resident is calling out a local post office for long lines and missing packages.
Rebecca Henry tells News 12 that it is normal to wait up to two hours for packages at 575 East Tremont Ave.
In addition to long waits, Henry says she has ordered packages that have not been delivered. One time she says she picked up a package that was allegedly retaped with nothing inside.
"They never leave a notice and I never get my packages," Henry said. "It is rare that they deliver it and I actually get it."
Henry says she is not the only customer that is upset. She says she has seen people screaming and fights almost break out at the post office.
The United States Postal Service issued a statement to News 12 that said, "The Postal Service goal is to deliver mail efficiently and effectively for our customers. That being said, management have been notified of these complaints and will work towards providing the best customer service experience possible."
