Trash can stickers barring the name of disgraced Councilman Larry Seabrook to be removed
A Bronx politician currently in prison will soon have his stickers removed from trash cans in the 12th City Council district.
Larry Seabrook is serving a five-year prison term after being convicted of using public funds for personal gain. Councilman Andy King, who took Seabrook's seat, says he has received complaints about the trash cans still bearing Seabrook's name.
King says the neighborhood is ready for a change. According to King, stickers from about 55 trash cans with Seabrook's name will be removed during a cleanup day on Aug. 12.
