Go "down Port," as locals say! Once you park your car, you can walk everywhere in this charming village.
Stroll through Harborfront Park and let the kids play.
If you want to get off your feet, or want a fun photo opp, take a seat in the Big Chair.
Save your energy for shopping because there are many unique stores in Chandler Square.
While you are there, you can stop for a cold beer at Port Jeff Brewing Company. Their pumpkin ale is already here!
And if you are hungry, you can begin with brunch at Toast. Try their famous krispy Nutella French toast.
For all things sweet, stop at Roger's Frigate. You can pick up homemade ice cream for you and for your furbaby!
And for waterfront dining, Danford's is famous for their lobster roll, fish bowl, and of course the incredible view. You can spend the night and book a spa day on sight.
Or you can catch your own dinner on a family fishing trip and just relax on the water on a private harbor cruise with Captain Fish Port Jeff.
Take a ride to Pirate's Cove and enjoy a different view of Port Jefferson.
You can even take the ferry to Bridgeport, Connecticut for a whole other fun day away. Don't miss the boat on this great getaway!
