Surveillance video released in West Hempstead hit-and-run

Police have released surveillance video of a car wanted for hitting a 14-year-old boy in West Hempstead and then taking off.
Police believe the light-colored four-door sedan is the car that struck the teen.
According to police, the teen was walking east on Eagle Avenue on July 23 just before 10 p.m.  when he crossed over Cleveland Street.
The victim suffered a broken leg.
