Suffolk detective suspended after alleged BWI incident
Police say a Suffolk police detective has been suspended after allegedly crashing his boat while drunk.
Detective Christopher Koltzan is accused of slamming his boat into another boat in Tiana Bay off Southampton on Saturday.
Police say three people in that other boat were thrown overboard and hurt.
According to police, Koltzan has been suspended without pay during the investigation.
