Background: Sachs, 59, of Dix Hills, is running on the Democratic, Republican, Conservative, Working Families, Independence and Women's Equality party lines in the general election. He is an attorney with an office in Bellmore specializing in DWI cases since 1989. Sachs served as an assistant Bronx district attorney from 1985-89. He received his undergraduate degree from University at Albany in 1981 and graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1985. Sachs was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1986, New York State Federal Bar in 1987 and the United States Supreme Court Bar in 1991.
