Whether it's for a birthday celebration, or just for a day out east, many visitors are looking to stay outdoors for their wine tasting.
Duck Walk Vineyards in Southold has a sprawling lawn, some covered patios and a huge tent that stays up in all kinds of weather. Duck Walk owner Alex Damianos says guests can order any of their nearly two dozen wines inside, but then have to drink them outside.
Meanwhile, across the street, is the Corey Creek Tap Room. It's known for its casual outdoor seating areas, it has a small, but picturesque inside and wines on tap. They have four brand new summer wines, including a first for Long Island, a white cabernet franc. Another of the new wines is also unique - a rosé made purely from Malbec. And their number one summer seller is a frozee - a frozen, dry rosé wine.
